Turbat Deputy Commissioner Survives Assassination Attempt, Six Guards Injured in Bomb Blast
TURBAT:Deputy Commissioner Kech **Bashir Ahmed Badoch** narrowly escaped an assassination attempt on Saturday when a **motorcycle-borne bomb** exploded near his convoy in Turbat.
According to initial reports, the attack occurred as the Deputy Commissioner was **returning from the Tehsildar’s office** to his own office when a **bomb planted on a motorcycle detonated** close to his vehicle.
DC Bashir Ahmed remained **unharmed**, but **six of his security guards** sustained injuries in the explosion. The wounded personnel were immediately shifted to **Turbat Civil Hospital**, where they are said to be in **stable condition**.
Following the incident, the **local administration** imposed tight security measures and launched a **search operation** to track down those responsible for the attack.
Authorities have also formed a **special investigation team** to probe the incident, while security has been placed on **high alert** across the Kech district.
