KARACHI: The latest exchange rates for major foreign currencies have been released in Pakistan’s open market, showing only minor fluctuations across most denominations.
According to currency exchange dealers, the **US dollar** is being bought at **Rs282.55** and sold at **Rs282.75** in the open market. The **British pound** is trading at **Rs380.65 (buying)** and **Rs383.65 (selling)**, while the **euro** stands at **Rs331.70 (buying)** and **Rs335.20 (selling)**.
Among Gulf currencies, the **Saudi riyal** is being bought at **Rs75.45** and sold at **Rs76.10**, whereas the **UAE dirham** is available at **Rs76.75 (buying)** and **Rs77.75 (selling)**. The **Canadian dollar** trades at **Rs205.40 (buying)** and **Rs212.40 (selling)**, while the **Chinese yuan** is quoted at **Rs39.80 (buying)** and **Rs40.20 (selling)**. The **Australian dollar** stands at **Rs185.40 (buying)** and **Rs190.40 (selling)**, and the **Japanese yen** is priced at **Rs1.8762 (buying)** and **Rs1.9762 (selling)**.
In the **interbank market**, slight adjustments were also recorded. The **US dollar** is being bought at **Rs281.00** and sold at **Rs281.50**, while the **British pound** trades at **Rs377.67 (buying)** and **Rs378.34 (selling)**. The **euro** is quoted at **Rs327.85 (buying)** and **Rs328.43 (selling)**.

Currency analysts note that the rupee has remained **largely stable** against the US dollar in recent weeks due to improved foreign exchange inflows and tighter regulatory controls.
