Fazlur Rehman Calls Parliament ‘Irrelevant,’ Urges Supporters to Prepare for March Toward Islamabad

D.I. KHAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief **Maulana Fazlur Rehman** has hinted at launching a march toward Islamabad, declaring that the **Parliament has lost its significance** and urging supporters to “get ready to move.”

Addressing the **Mufti Mahmood Conference**, the JUI-F leader said that his party believes in **people’s democracy** and will never accept a **stolen mandate**. He claimed that the **2024 general elections** were “completely rigged,” adding that the **2018 polls** were also tainted by electoral theft, which his party never recognized.

Fazlur Rehman reiterated that JUI-F’s politics is rooted in **democratic values**, not in “abuse or indecency.”

Speaking about the situation in **Palestine**, he strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities, saying, “The Palestinians have been oppressed and starved.” He reminded that **Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah** had declared the creation of **Israel an illegitimate act**, affirming that his party still stands by that position.
