Imran Khan Played the Role of Both Executioner and Pharaoh During His Rule, Says Uzma Bukhari

LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has launched a scathing attack on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, saying that prison walls have mentally paralyzed him. She alleged that during his tenure, Khan acted as both a “Pharaoh and an executioner” at the same time.

In a statement, Bukhari said that Imran Khan has now called on his party workers to protest in support of the same religious group he once labeled as extremist and militant. “He keeps taking U-turns and changing his stance without any shame,” she remarked.

The minister questioned, “When the nation has already rejected your so-called final call, on what grounds are you calling for another protest? The people of Pakistan are now wondering if the agenda of both groups is to spread chaos.”

Bukhari further stated that in provinces where PTI is in power, terrorism is on the rise. “Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has become a hub of bad governance, corruption, and terrorism,” she added, accusing PTI of focusing on creating unrest rather than ensuring peace or good governance.

She concluded by saying that “PTI’s policy as a political party is not to deliver but to spread disorder.”
