Mustafa Kamal Says PTI Should Be Grateful the Army Is Responding Only Through Press Conferences

Islamabad: Federal Health Minister and MQM leader **Mustafa Kamal** has lashed out at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying they should be grateful that the Pakistan Army is responding to their accusations “only through press conferences.”
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Mustafa Kamal said the Pakistan Army had crushed the ambitions of India’s much larger military, yet PTI was trying to create a narrative of distance between the people and the armed forces. He said the nation was proud of the army and its leadership.
“Be thankful the army is only answering your filth through press conferences,” he said. “In the past, people committed far lesser mistakes and mothers spent years searching for their sons. Despite such vile allegations, the army is only speaking. God forbid what happened to us happens to you. We have lived through 40 years of suffering in Karachi.”
Kamal added that MQM had never acted against national security. “We support what is right and reject what is wrong. Our request to PTI is to review their policies. If a military general works according to their wishes, he is good—if not, he is bad. This attitude is unfortunate.”
He stressed that the army belonged to the entire nation, not any single political party. “This army stood firm against a military eight times larger and shattered India’s dream of regional dominance. Allah has used the army to elevate Pakistan’s honor.”
MQM leader **Dr. Farooq Sattar** also criticized PTI, saying the party’s narrative was “against national security.” He added that the DG ISPR was right in saying that the PTI founder was “a mental patient.”
