Hadiqa Kiani and Alkhidmat Foundation Launch Major Flood Relief Operation, Aid Distributed to 1,000 Families

Multan: Renowned singer and humanitarian **Hadiqa Kiani**, in collaboration with **Alkhidmat Foundation**, conducted a large-scale flood relief operation in **Jalalpur Pirwala** and **Shujaabad**, distributing essential supplies to **1,000 flood-affected families**.

The relief packages included **dry rations, bedding, blankets, water coolers, mosquito nets, mats, utensils**, and other household essentials. Additionally, **500 children** received **stationery, toys, and gifts**. A total of **600 families in Jalalpur Pirwala** and **400 families in Shujaabad** benefited from the initiative.

During the visit, Hadiqa Kiani interacted with women and children, listening to their concerns and learning about their needs. The distribution events were attended by **Alkhidmat Foundation Multan President Syed Abdul Qadir**, **Senior Manager Media Relations Shoaib Hashmi**, **Jalalpur Pirwala President Adeel Kareem Bhatti**, **Shujaabad President Dr. Zeeshan Hassan Wains**, volunteers, community leaders, and affected families.

Speaking at the event, **Hadiqa Kiani** said, *“The floods were a major disaster, but I am deeply impressed by Alkhidmat Foundation’s organized and effective efforts. I want to work with Alkhidmat to establish disaster management centers in Jalalpur Pirwala and Shujaabad.”*

She added that the **resilience of women and children** despite difficult circumstances is commendable, emphasizing the need for collective efforts to share their pain and rebuild their lives.

**Syed Abdul Qadir** thanked Hadiqa Kiani for her participation, saying Alkhidmat Foundation has **rescued and supported thousands of families** since the onset of floods and is now entering the **rehabilitation phase**.

**Shoaib Hashmi** stated that their mission goes beyond immediate relief — the goal is to ensure **complete rehabilitation** for affected families, with a **Farmers Rehabilitation Program** set to launch soon.

**Dr. Zeeshan Hassan Wains** noted that when **artists engage in social causes**, it strengthens compassion and unity in society.

Following the relief distribution, Hadiqa Kiani visited **Basti Bhopat Wala**, expressing solidarity with affected families and urging the youth to participate in **“Bano Qabil”**-type skill programs to empower themselves and reshape their futures.
