Khosa Criticizes Government for Opening Front Against Afghanistan

Lahore: Senior politician and lawyer **Sardar Latif Khosa** has criticized the government for what he described as “opening a front” against **Afghanistan**, calling the move regrettable. He said many Afghans grew up on Pakistani soil, yet today they are being expelled.

Speaking to the media at the **Lahore High Court**, Khosa said, *“You are willing to hold talks with India, but not with Afghanistan. This is deeply disappointing.”*

Commenting on the **operation against the TLP protest**, Khosa expressed sorrow over the **Muridke incident**, saying, *“The same thing happened to us on November 26. We strongly condemn such actions.”*

He also criticized the **Model Town tragedy**, reminding that 14 innocent people were killed, and yet, *“when the PML-N stormed the Supreme Court, no action was taken against them.”*

Khosa further remarked that after the **26th Constitutional Amendment**, the **Constitution had effectively been buried**, and through the **PECA law**, media freedom was suppressed, leaving no real **right to protest in Pakistan**.

Commenting on recent political developments, he said **Sarfaraz Cheema** was right not to take the oath from **Hamza Shehbaz** as chief minister, while **Faisal Karim Kundi’s refusal to administer the oath to KP CM Sohail Afridi** was **unconstitutional**.
