Security Placed on High Alert in Quetta Amid Terror Threats
Quetta:Following Thursday’s terrorist attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) Headquarters and intelligence reports of possible further attacks, security in Quetta has been placed on high alert.
According to police officials, plainclothes personnel have been deployed at sensitive locations and crowded areas to monitor suspicious individuals and vehicles. Patrolling across the city has been intensified, while strict checking is being carried out at all entry and exit points of Quetta.
On Friday, enhanced security arrangements were made outside mosques and Imambargahs, where worshippers were only allowed entry after thorough checking.
Police have also appealed to citizens to remain vigilant, keep an eye on their surroundings, and immediately report any suspicious activity or objects to law enforcement authorities.
