Govt Considering House Arrest Option for PTI Founder: Tariq Fazal Chaudhry

Islamabad:Federal Minister and PML-N leader **Tariq Fazal Chaudhry** has said that the government is considering shifting the PTI founder from Adiala Jail to **Islamabad District Jail**, while also supporting the option of placing him under **house arrest** at either **Bani Gala or Zaman Park residence**.

Speaking to a private TV channel, Chaudhry said that all prisoners belonging to Islamabad who are currently detained at Adiala Jail will soon be transferred to Islamabad’s District Jail, including the PTI founder.

He added that he personally supports the idea of moving the PTI founder to **house arrest**, saying:

> “We do not want to cause him any kind of discomfort. If necessary, he can be kept at Bani Gala or even Zaman Park, and we are in favor of that as well.”

The minister also commented on parliamentary affairs, stating that the move to remove Junaid Akbar from the **Public Accounts Committee (PAC)** was carried out through a strategy involving resignations.
