Complete Ban Imposed on All Types of Construction in Murree

MURREE: Authorities have imposed a blanket ban on all types of construction in Murree for a period of three months.

According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner, the restrictions also apply to road construction. In addition, stone crushing, drilling, mining, and the transportation of building materials have been prohibited.

The order further bans the establishment of new factories, shops, and markets in the hill station.

Officials stated that the decision was taken under the Murree Master Plan with the aim of ensuring environmental protection and creating a more people-friendly atmosphere.
