Supreme Court Sets Hearing on Petitions Against 26th Constitutional Amendment for October 7

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has scheduled the hearing of petitions challenging the **26th Constitutional Amendment** for **October 7**.
An **eight-member larger bench**, headed by **Justice Aminuddin Khan**, will take up the case at **11:30 AM**.
The bench comprises **Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Justice Musarrat Hilali, Justice Naeem Akhtar Afghan, and Justice Shahid Bilal**.
The petitions question the validity and implications of the 26th Amendment, which had been passed to address representation issues of the erstwhile Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).
