Asia Cup: Indian Media Sparks Controversy Ahead of Pakistan-India Clash

Dubai: Indian media has once again stirred controversy ahead of the much-anticipated Pakistan-India Asia Cup clash, claiming that the International Cricket Council (ICC) is considering action against Pakistan.

According to Indian reports, Pakistan’s team allegedly violated several tournament regulations before their match against the UAE. The reports claim that the Pakistani players delayed the start of the game in protest against the decision not to remove match referee Andy Pycroft.

Furthermore, Indian outlets alleged that the ICC has sent an email to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), highlighting instances of misconduct and multiple breaches of the Players and Match Officials Area (PMOA) protocol.

The PCB has not yet issued an official response to these claims.
