Gwadar Port Activity Sees Uptick Amid Iran-US Tensions

**Gwadar:** Chairman of Gwadar Port, Noor-ul-Haq, has said that port activities have increased following rising tensions between Iran and the United States.

According to Noor-ul-Haq, despite the uncertain situation in the Strait of Hormuz, limited ship movement has continued at the port. He stated that during the last fiscal year, a total of three cargo ships arrived, handling around 62,000 metric tons of cargo.

He added that at the start of the current fiscal year, there has been noticeable improvement in the nature and volume of cargo, indicating a positive trend for port operations.
