Sindh barrages witness rising water inflows; Guddu under high flood

Lahore:The **Indus River** continues to swell as inflows rise at **Guddu, Sukkur, and Kotri barrages**, the Flood Forecasting Division Lahore reported.
* At **Guddu Barrage**, a *high flood* persists with inflows surging to **561,000 cusecs**.
* **Sukkur Barrage** is experiencing a *medium flood* with inflows of **480,000 cusecs**.
* At **Kotri Barrage**, a *low flood* is recorded with water flow reaching **271,000 cusecs**.
Meanwhile, water levels at **Kot Mithan (Rajanpur)** and **Chachran Sharif** have slightly receded, with the river’s height dropping to **11.5 feet**.
The **Chenab River** at **Head Panjnad** is also witnessing a gradual decline in flows.
Elsewhere, the **Sutlej River** remains in *medium flood* at **Ganda Singh Wala** and **Head Islam**, while a *low flood* continues at **Head Sulemanki**. The **Ravi River** at **Head Sidhnai** is showing a decrease in water levels.
