Death Threats to Salman Khan Lead to Tightened Security on Bigg Boss 19 Set

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar **Salman Khan** is once again facing **serious death threats**, prompting producers of the reality show **Bigg Boss 19** to enforce **strict security measures** on set.
According to Indian media reports, entry of **live audiences** to the show — particularly during the popular “**Weekend Ka Vaar**” episodes — has been **completely banned** due to safety concerns. These episodes typically draw large crowds eager to see Salman Khan live.
The actor has reportedly been receiving **persistent threats** in recent months, allegedly linked to **notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi**. In response, the show’s production team has significantly increased security to ensure the safety of the host and crew.
**Bigg Boss CEO Rishi Negi** confirmed that **security enhancements have been ongoing for the past two and a half years**, and have now been further intensified. He revealed that nearly **600 personnel** are working in **rotational 24-hour shifts** to prevent any potential threats or disruptions.
These precautionary steps have been taken to **protect Salman Khan** and to ensure the **smooth continuation of the show**. It is worth noting that this is not the first time the actor has received **threats from Lawrence Bishnoi’s network**.
