PM Shehbaz Sharif, UAE President Arrive in Qatar to Express Solidarity Against Israeli Attacks; Saudi Crown Prince Also Expected

Islamabad/Doha: In a strong show of solidarity against Israeli aggression, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have arrived in Doha, Qatar. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is also expected to join them shortly.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is on a one-day visit to the Qatari capital, where he will express Pakistan’s complete support and solidarity with the government and people of Qatar in response to Israel’s recent attacks. Upon arrival at Doha Airport, PM Shehbaz was received by Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman bin Hassan Al Thani.

The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.

During the visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to meet the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The leaders will discuss the recent Israeli aggression, its blatant violation of international laws, and the broader regional situation. The meeting will also focus on efforts to restore peace and stability in the region amidst ongoing Israeli hostilities.

Pakistan and Qatar enjoy longstanding, historic, and brotherly relations rooted in shared faith, culture, and values. PM Shehbaz is expected to reaffirm Pakistan’s continued support for Qatar, especially in challenging times.

Meanwhile, UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed has also arrived in Doha, and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is expected to land soon. The presence of the three leaders in Doha signifies a unified stance among key Muslim nations against Israeli military actions and in solidarity with Qatar.
