ANF Cracks Down on Drug Smuggling; Narcotics Worth Millions Seized, Two Suspects Arrested

Rawalpindi – The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) carried out a series of operations around educational institutions and in multiple cities across the country, seizing over **56.750 kilograms of narcotics** worth more than **Rs 43.7 million** and arresting **two suspects**, according to an ANF spokesperson.

During an operation near **Sangjani Toll Plaza, Islamabad**, officials recovered **3.6 kg of hashish** from a rickshaw and arrested the suspect on the spot.

In another raid, ANF personnel intercepted a passenger at **Jinnah International Airport, Karachi**, traveling to Dubai. A search of his luggage led to the recovery of **0.150 kg of cocaine** concealed inside a psyllium husk (ispaghol) bottle.

Separately, a major seizure was made near **Pasni’s Churbadar coastal line in Gwadar**, where authorities discovered **30 kg of heroin** and **23 kg of crystal meth (ice)** hidden in the area.

Cases have been registered under the **Control of Narcotics Substances Act, 1997**, and further investigations are underway.
