Karachi Schools Announce Holiday Amid Light Rain Showers

Karachi: Several private schools in Karachi announced a holiday today due to light rain and drizzle in various parts of the city.

Rainfall was reported in **Saddar, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Defence, Qayyumabad, Korangi Road, Burns Road, and M.A. Jinnah Road**. Drizzle and light showers also occurred in **University Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Mehmoodabad, Manzoor Colony, Baloch Colony, and surrounding areas**, bringing relief to citizens but also causing water accumulation in low-lying areas.

Meanwhile, the **Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD)** has forecast heavy rainfall in parts of Karachi today, raising the risk of urban flooding in vulnerable areas.
