Government to Provide Bureaucrats with International Standard Training

Islamabad: The government has decided to train bureaucrats according to international standards in a bid to enhance public sector governance, ensure accountability, and promote transparency.
According to *Express News*, the Establishment Division has resolved to implement training programs in line with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) benchmarks. The Secretariat Training Institute has invited tenders from reputable firms for this purpose.
The Establishment Division has specifically chosen to adopt ISO 21001 standards for civil service training institutions. In its official statement, the division emphasized that this move will strengthen professional capacity within the bureaucracy while upholding principles of good governance.
As per Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) rules, bids can be submitted until September 22. The Secretariat Training Institute will play a key role in building the professional competence of civil bureaucrats under the new system.
