CM Balochistan Chairs High-Level Security Meeting Following Quetta Blast

Quetta – Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti presided over a high-level meeting on law and order, where the Additional Chief Secretary (Home) and Inspector General of Police briefed him on details of the Shahuani Stadium blast.

The Chief Minister directed that peace restoration efforts be made more effective and instructed the Additional Chief Secretary to keep the public and media informed about government actions and facts.

He urged political parties and the public to cooperate with security institutions, stressing that unity is crucial in the face of current threat alerts. “The terrorists responsible for the Shahuani Stadium attack will be brought to justice,” Bugti affirmed.

He assured that the families of martyrs would not be left alone, pledging full government support. He also ordered the best medical facilities for the injured and directed that critically wounded patients be airlifted to Karachi for treatment.

Bugti reiterated that terrorists would not be allowed to sabotage peace in Balochistan under any circumstances. He also instructed a foolproof security plan for Rabi-ul-Awal 12 processions, urging citizens to fully cooperate with the government and security agencies during religious gatherings.
