Armed Burqa-Clad Robbers Loot Bank in Quetta, Guard Injured, Rs 9.4 Million Stolen

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** Armed robbers disguised in burqas carried out a major heist at a bank in Quetta, injuring a security guard and escaping with Rs 9.4 million in cash.

According to police, the incident occurred on Monday near Burma Hotel on Saryab Road. The assailants entered the bank wearing burqas and, using weapons, attempted to seize the cash. During a brief resistance, the bank’s security guard, Bashir Ahmed, was seriously injured in the firing.

The robbers took the bank staff and another guard hostage before making off with Rs 9.4 million. Following the incident, police and law enforcement teams arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and launched a search operation to apprehend the suspects. Investigations and further action are ongoing.
