PM Orders Introduction of China-Style Modern Hospitals in Pakistan

Beijing – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed that modern hospitals and healthcare facilities based on the Chinese model be introduced in Pakistan, equipped with advanced technology and robust infrastructure.

During his visit to Beijing’s Anzhen Hospital, the Prime Minister reviewed the available facilities, modern technology, and efficient management system. He praised the hospital administration for delivering high-quality services and state-of-the-art medical treatment.

He was briefed in detail on the use of robotic technology and other modern facilities at the hospital. On the occasion, he instructed Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi to ensure that Islamabad’s ongoing health projects, particularly Jinnah Medical Complex and other under-construction hospitals, are built on the same model, with simple, strong, and durable infrastructure.

The Prime Minister emphasized that all hospitals under construction in Pakistan must be provided with top-quality medical facilities modeled on Chinese standards.

He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Raza Naqvi, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and senior government officials.
