Imran Khan’s Nephew Shahriz Khan Sent to Jail on Judicial Remand in Jinnah House Attack Case

LAHORE – Shahriz Khan, nephew of PTI founder Imran Khan and son of Aleema Khan, has been sent to jail on judicial remand in connection with the May 9 Jinnah House attack case.

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore, presided over by Judge Manzar Ali Gul, rejected the police’s request for further physical remand and ordered that the accused be sent to jail on judicial remand.

Shahriz Khan was produced before the court following the completion of his 8-day physical remand. The case against him has been registered at Sarwar Road Police Station under charges related to the violent incidents of May 9.

Police had sought an extension in remand to continue their investigation, but the court denied the request and directed that the accused be sent to jail.
