Four Pakistani Cricketers Named Among World’s Best Young Talents by Wisden

Lahore: Renowned cricket publication *Wisden* has released a new list of the world’s best young cricketers, recognizing players under the age of 23 based on their performances and long-term potential. The list includes four promising players from Pakistan.
This is the first time since 2019 that *Wisden* has compiled such a list, highlighting the most exciting emerging talents across cricket-playing nations.
Leading the Pakistani contingent is fast bowler **Naseem Shah**, who has secured the **6th position** in the top 10 rankings. He is followed by batter **Saim Ayub** at **11th**, young talent **Hassan Nawaz** at **26th**, and bowler **Ali Raza** at **37th**.
Indian batter **Yashasvi Jaiswal** tops the list, followed by **Jayden Seales** of the West Indies at number 2, **Jacob Bethell** of England at 3, **Will O’Rourke** of New Zealand at 4, and **Lhuan-dre Pretorius** of South Africa at 5.
Other names in the top 10 include Afghanistan’s **Rahmanullah Gurbaz** (7), South Africa’s **Kwena Maphaka** (8), India’s **Sai Sudharsan** (9), and Afghanistan’s **Ibrahim Zadran** (10).
Notably, **no Australian cricketer** made it into the top 10, a rare omission in such global rankings.
