Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Visits Tablighi Markaz, Assures Resolution of Visa Issues for Foreign Delegates

Raiwind: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a visit to the Tablighi Markaz in Raiwind, where he met with senior members of the Tablighi Jamaat and assured that visa issues faced by foreign delegates arriving for the upcoming annual congregation would be resolved on a priority basis.

During the meeting, prominent religious figures including Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Butler, Maulana Ubaidullah Khurshid, Dr. Saleem, Anwar Ghani, Mian Ahsan, Dr. Nadeem Ashraf, Maulana Amir Ehsan, Maulana Amjad Farooq, Shabbir Ahmed Usmani, Mufti Irfan, and Brigadier (R) Musaddiq were present.

Discussions centered around the preparations for the international Tablighi Ijtema scheduled for November. The Tablighi elders briefed the interior minister on the arrangements being made for the event.

Minister Naqvi appreciated the Tablighi Jamaat’s efforts in promoting Islam and reaffirmed that all possible facilities would be provided to foreign participants attending the Ijtema. He emphasized that any visa-related concerns would be addressed as a top priority, stating, “Those arriving for the Tablighi gathering are our honored guests — we will ensure ease and support for them at every level.”

He also shared that he regularly attends the annual congregation and plans to participate again this year.

Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Butler reminded attendees that everyone must eventually return to Allah, and stressed the importance of dedicating one’s life to serving Islam and humanity. He added that true success lies in following the path laid out by Allah Almighty.
