Saudi Hero Awarded King Abdulaziz Medal for Saving Lives at Fuel Station

Riyadh: A Saudi citizen, Fahad Al-Dulbahi, has been awarded the prestigious King Abdulaziz Medal and a monetary reward of 1 million Saudi Riyals for his extraordinary bravery in saving lives at a fuel station.
According to Arab media reports, the incident occurred at a petrol station approximately 300 kilometers from the capital Riyadh. A truck loaded with animal fodder caught fire, prompting the driver to flee the scene immediately. Amid the chaos, 40-year-old Fahad Al-Dulbahi displayed exceptional courage by risking his own life to move the burning truck away from the fuel pumps, potentially preventing a major disaster.
Al-Dulbahi sustained injuries during the heroic act but is reportedly recovering well, according to his family members.
In recognition of his selfless act, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman personally recommended Fahad Al-Dulbahi for the King Abdulaziz Medal, one of the nation’s highest civilian honors.
