Students Discover Gold Jewelry During Rescue Operation in Buner, Share Video on Social Media

Buner – Amid the ongoing devastation caused by cloudbursts and flash floods in Buner, over 220 lives have been lost so far, with rescue operations continuing to recover bodies trapped under the debris. During one such rescue effort, a group of students assisting flood victims discovered a box containing gold jewelry inside a damaged house.
According to details, the students, who belong to local religious seminaries, were helping with relief efforts when they came across the jewelry, reportedly worth over Rs. 1 million. Instead of keeping it, the students recorded a video showing the discovery and the location, which they then shared on social media. The purpose, they stated, was to ensure that the rightful owner could come forward and reclaim the valuables.
The act has been widely praised on social media, with many lauding the students for their honesty and integrity during such a difficult time.
