Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP and Election Commission of Election Fraud in India’s General Elections

New Delhi, India:Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the Election Commission of India of colluding with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to manipulate the results of the country’s general elections. Gandhi made these claims while presenting evidence of alleged election irregularities, stating that voters’ rights were violated and the integrity of the electoral process compromised.

According to Rahul Gandhi, there were instances of duplicate voter IDs being created, fake addresses registered in certain constituencies, and the use of doctored photographs. He further alleged that these manipulations allowed the BJP to secure seats it otherwise would not have won.

Gandhi also accused BJP, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, of attacking the Constitution during the last elections, claiming that more than 100 seats were rigged. “If it weren’t for the fraud, Narendra Modi wouldn’t be the Prime Minister today,” Gandhi asserted.

He strongly criticized the Election Commission for its role, labeling its actions as “treason” and vowed to take legal action against the alleged electoral fraud. “What the Election Commission is doing is a betrayal of the nation,” Gandhi said, urging for a full investigation into the irregularities.

In the most recent Lok Sabha elections, the ruling BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secured 293 out of 543 seats, while opposition parties and their allies won 234 seats.

These accusations have added fuel to the ongoing political tensions between the ruling BJP and opposition parties, further igniting debate about the fairness and transparency of India’s electoral system.
