Section 144 Imposed in Balochistan to Maintain Law and Order

Quetta:The Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 in the province in a bid to maintain law and order. According to a notification issued by the Balochistan Home Department, the restrictions include a ban on motorcycle pillion riding and the display of weapons for the next 15 days.

The notification also imposes a prohibition on gatherings of five or more people, including protests, rallies, and sit-ins. Additionally, wearing veils or covering faces in public will be banned for men.

The Home Department also reiterated that a ban on tinted glass windows in vehicles has already been in place, emphasizing the importance of public safety and security.

These measures have been introduced in response to growing concerns over public disturbances and to curb potential security threats. The provincial authorities have urged the citizens to comply with the regulations to ensure peace and stability.
