For the First Time in 125 Years, Female Police Officers Deployed in Rajanpur’s Koh-e-Suleman Region

Rajanpur: In a historic move, female police officers have been deployed for the first time in the Koh-e-Suleman mountainous region of Rajanpur after 125 years of male-only presence in the Border Military Police.
These women officers have been fully trained in the use of firearms and in handling criminal elements. Their deployment marks a significant shift in the region’s approach to law enforcement and community engagement.
The female officers expressed hope that their presence would empower local women to step forward with their issues and seek justice more freely.
