India Forced to Face Pakistan in Legends World Championship 2025 Semi-Final After Group Stage Boycott

London: The Indian Legends cricket team, which previously refused to play against Pakistan in the group stage of the World Championship of Legends 2025, will now be compelled to face the Shaheens in the tournament’s semi-final.
Indian stars Shikhar Dhawan, Harbhajan Singh, and Yusuf Pathan had earlier cited political tensions and the April attack in Pahalgam as reasons for boycotting the group-stage clash against Pakistan.
However, after defeating the West Indies Champions in a crucial match on Tuesday in England, India secured the fourth spot on the points table and qualified for the semi-finals. Pakistan, already leading the points table, will now face India in the first semi-final on July 31.
Australia and South Africa, who have already booked their places in the final four, will compete in the second semi-final on the same day.
It’s worth noting that the much-anticipated group-stage encounter between Pakistan and India was cancelled due to India’s refusal to participate. Now, with no way to avoid the showdown, all eyes are on what promises to be a high-voltage clash in the knockout round.
