Daughter of Bank Security Guard Secures Third Position in Karachi TSC Matric Exams

Karachi: The Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) announced the results of the Technical School Certificate (TSC) Part-II Annual Examinations 2025 on Monday, revealing an inspiring success story. Wajiha Shah, the daughter of a private bank’s security guard, secured third position across the province.
According to SBTE Chairman Mushtaq Ali Rajput, a total of 1,887 candidates from across Sindh appeared in the exams, with 1,628 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 86.27%.
Hafiz Muhammad Shaheer from Gulshan Technical High School Malir topped the exams with 1,179 marks out of 1,350, followed by his classmate Muhammad Shamikh Ahmed, who scored 1,168 marks. The third position was claimed by Wajiha Shah from Workers Model School SITE Hyderabad, who earned 1,164 marks in Computer Science.
Wajiha’s academic achievement has drawn praise, particularly because she overcame financial hardships as the daughter of a bank security guard. Her story is being celebrated as a testament to hard work, resilience, and the power of education.
All top-position holders were awarded shields, medals, and cash prizes by the board in recognition of their outstanding performance.
