Supreme Court Postpones Hearing on Imran Khan’s Bail Petitions in May 9 Cases

Islamabad: The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s bail petitions in the May 9 cases until August 12.
A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi heard the case. The hearing was postponed on a request filed by lawyer Salman Safdar.
Advocate Salman Akram Raja informed the court about Salman Safdar’s request for adjournment and requested the court to reschedule the hearing for next week and issue notices.
However, the Supreme Court rejected the request to set a new date for next week and to issue notices, instead postponing the hearing until August 12.
