Major Development in TikToker Sana Yousaf Murder Case: Umar Hayat Declared Killer, Challan Submitted to Prosecution

Islamabad: A significant breakthrough has been made in the murder case of young TikToker Sana Yousaf. According to police reports, the suspect, Umar Hayat, allegedly shot and killed Sana after she refused to befriend him. The police have submitted the challan (investigation report) to the prosecution branch, naming Umar Hayat as the prime accused.
The challan, submitted to the Islamabad District and Sessions Court, includes a reference to Umar Hayat’s confession under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code. A two-member prosecution team, comprising Raja Naveed Kayani and Muhammad Adnan, will now scrutinize the case documents.
According to court sources, once the scrutiny is completed, the challan will be formally submitted in court, following which the trial will begin before the relevant judge.
