Pakistan’s Exports Exceed $32 Billion in FY 2024-25

In the fiscal year 2024-25, Pakistan’s export volume surpassed $32 billion, marking an increase of $1.365 billion. The Federal Bureau of Statistics reported that exports witnessed a growth of 4.45% during this period.
Textile exports saw a significant rise of 7.39%, reaching $17.88 billion. Key textile sectors including ready-made garments, raw cotton, yarn, knitwear, bedwear, towels, and tents saw notable increases in export volumes.
However, the export of food items declined by 3.44%, amounting to $7.11 billion. Exports of rice, fruits, vegetables, spices, and meat decreased, while exports of sugar, fish, and tobacco saw a rise. Last year, Pakistan exported 765,000 tons of sugar, worth $410 million.
The export of manufacturing goods also grew by 4.84%, reaching $4.22 billion, including carpets, rugs, gloves, footballs, and sports goods.
Leather product exports rose by 4.87%, totaling $572.5 million, contributing to the overall growth in the country’s export performance for the year.
