Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Calls for Unified Protest in Islamabad, Seeks Public Support for Long March

Quetta:Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Molana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch urged traders, transporters, and all sections of society to join the long march in Islamabad on July 25. He emphasized that both the business community and local residents have always supported Jamaat-e-Islami’s efforts for resolving national and local issues.
During his meeting with Abdul Rahim Kakar, President of the Balochistan Traders’ Association, Molana Hidayat-ur-Rehman expressed the party’s preparedness to bring together people from various sectors, including traders, for the march. “Traders have always stood with us in the struggle for national interests and the resolution of collective problems. Now, it’s time for everyone to unite for the cause,” he stated.
The meeting also discussed the upcoming preparations for the July 25 march and the support of the traders’ community. Other prominent figures from Jamaat-e-Islami, including Deputy Amir of Balochistan Zahid Akhtar Baloch, Deputy General Secretary Sabir Panizai, Osama Hashmi, and other party members, were also present.
Molana Hidayat-ur-Rehman further highlighted the ongoing issues faced by the people of Balochistan, including oppression, injustice, lawlessness, and exploitation. He emphasized that despite being trapped in a web of problems, the government has failed to address their concerns. Additionally, he criticized the government’s crackdown on peaceful protests, arrests, and cases against demonstrators.
“The people of Balochistan are in dire need of their rights. The rulers in Islamabad must give the people of Balochistan their due rights in all circumstances,” he added.
In response, Abdul Rahim Kakar, President of the Balochistan Traders’ Association, assured full cooperation and support for the upcoming protest and pledged to work together with Jamaat-e-Islami for the cause.
The joint effort aims to raise awareness and advocate for the rights and welfare of Balochistan’s people, pushing the government to take immediate action.
