Open Kachehri Held in Gandakha, Officials Direct Immediate Action on Public Issues

Usta Muhammad (KNN): In line with the directives of the Chief Minister of Balochistan, an open kachehri was held in the Gandakha tehsil of Usta Muhammad district under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Usta Muhammad محمد رمضان پلال. During the session, public grievances were heard and various proposals and demands were presented for their resolution.

The open kachehri was attended by Lt. Col. Rizwan Tayyab, Wing Commander 114, district officers, elected representatives, tribal elders, media representatives, members of civil society, and a large number of local residents.

Participants highlighted several key issues faced by the area, including the urgent need for cleaning of the Kirthar Canal, its distributaries, and minors to improve agricultural water supply. They also demanded action against illegal water courses, unauthorized machinery, and unlawful water channels operating in the region.

Local representatives stressed the restoration of a water pump installed to supply drinking water from the Saifullah Magsi Canal, along with the establishment of public parks, a cricket ground, and colleges for both boys and girls, as well as improved basic facilities.

Development projects including the construction of the Nokundi to Patogha Sindh Road and the Janan to Imam Bakhsh Sindh border road were also brought forward. Participants further emphasized the early completion of ongoing projects, including the RHC Gandakha and the Fire Brigade Office.

The Deputy Commissioner listened to the concerns and directed the concerned departments to take effective and practical steps to resolve public issues on a priority basis.
