Jamaat-e-Islami Holds Motorcycle Rally Against Change in Vehicle Number Plates in Karachi

Karachi:Jamaat-e-Islami organized a motorcycle rally in Karachi to protest against the government’s decision to change the number plates of motorcycles and vehicles.
The rally, led by the Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi, Muneem Zafar, began from North Nazimabad’s Five Star Chowrangi. The rally was attended by the party leadership, officials, and workers. The procession passed through various routes and culminated at Burns Road.
In his address to the rally participants, Muneem Zafar criticized the Sindh government for not being willing to provide infrastructure to Karachi. He pointed out that the city’s mayor claims that the responsibility of street construction does not lie with them.
The Jamaat-e-Islami leader expressed his frustration, stating that whenever the people of Karachi demand basic necessities such as water, electricity, and road construction, the Sindh government responds by focusing on changing number plates.
