Tragic Accident in Hasilpur: Passenger Coach Collides with Car, 5 Family Members Killed

Bahawalpur – A devastating road accident occurred in Hasilpur, a tehsil of Bahawalpur, where a high-speed passenger coach collided head-on with a car, resulting in the death of five members of the same family and injuries to three others.

According to Bahawalpur Rescue Control, the coach was en route from Bahawalpur to Bahawalnagar when it struck a car coming from the opposite direction on the Hasilpur-Chishtian Road. The collision was attributed to overspeeding.

Rescue teams responded promptly to the emergency call and arrived at the scene to provide assistance. Three people died on the spot, while two others succumbed to their injuries at the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Hasilpur. The remaining three injured family members are receiving medical treatment.

Authorities have confirmed that all eight occupants of the car were from the same family. The tragic incident has once again raised serious concerns about reckless driving and road safety on intercity routes.

An investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances of the crash, and further legal action is expected against the driver of the passenger coach.
