Toyota Indus Announces Major Price Cut for Fortuner Petrol Variants

Islamabad: Toyota Indus Motor Company has announced a significant reduction in the prices of Toyota Fortuner petrol variants, marking the second price cut in the past five months.
The company has reduced prices by up to Rs. 2.5 million, describing the move as part of its “35th anniversary special offer.” However, auto industry experts считают such a substantial reduction in a premium SUV unusual, suggesting that shifting market dynamics may be the real driver behind the decision.
According to details, the Fortuner G Petrol variant has seen a price cut of Rs. 2,504,000, bringing its price down from Rs. 14,939,000 to Rs. 12,435,000.
Similarly, the Fortuner V Petrol variant has been reduced by Rs. 2,574,000, with the new price set at Rs. 14,935,000, compared to its previous price of Rs. 17,509,000.
Market analysts believe that such a steep price drop in a premium vehicle indicates declining demand, rising inflation, and reduced consumer purchasing power, all of which are impacting Pakistan’s auto sector.
