Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Emerges as Pakistan’s Respected Global Voice, Says Sharjeel Memon

Karachi: Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has praised Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for becoming Pakistan’s respected global voice. Referring to the Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party’s interview with Karan Thapar, Memon described it as a significant diplomatic achievement for Pakistan.
He highlighted that Bilawal Bhutto, representing the youth leadership, is rapidly becoming a dignified voice for Pakistan on the world stage. The way Pakistan’s stance on sensitive issues such as terrorism was presented internationally with confidence, preparation, and foresight was commendable, Memon remarked.
Memon also emphasized that engaging with a tough and experienced journalist like Karan Thapar, and defending Pakistan’s position with poise and clarity, demonstrated Bilawal Bhutto’s political insight and diplomatic skills. Thapar, known for his tough interviewing style, was visibly rattled during the conversation, while Bilawal maintained a clear, well-reasoned, and confident approach.
Notably, Karan Thapar had faced a similar challenge when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had walked out of his interview. Memon pointed out that Bilawal stood firm, skillfully shifting the conversation in Pakistan’s favor. He stressed that the interview wasn’t just a media exchange but a powerful representation of Pakistan’s diplomatic stance, something the world needs in today’s global political climate.
According to Sharjeel Memon, Bilawal Bhutto is not only a political figure but the inheritor of the political and ideological legacy of three generations of the Bhutto family. The leadership of the PPP doesn’t rely on temporary popularity; it has continued to move forward with a deep understanding of history.
Memon emphasized that Bilawal’s interview reflected his political maturity, ideological depth, and thorough preparation. He also noted that the interview served as a complete reflection of Pakistan’s history, position, and vision.
Sharjeel Memon further explained that the PPP’s stance on significant matters like terrorism, Kashmir, and relations with India has always been principled and clear. The party has continuously fought terrorism, with its leadership bearing personal sacrifices in this war.
“Bilawal Bhutto speaks not just as an individual, but as the voice of a movement, history, and the people’s struggle,” Memon concluded. He also stressed that Bilawal’s foreign policy approach demonstrates that Pakistan is advancing with strong arguments, principles, and historical context rather than a defensive stance.
Sharjeel Inam Memon added that the PPP’s stance on trade with India, gas pipeline projects, and the Kashmir issue has always been rooted in national interest and democratic values. He described Bhuttoism as more than just a slogan—it’s a comprehensive political, social, and economic ideology, which Bilawal Bhutto continues to represent today.
