Imran Khan’s Sons Cannot Travel to Pakistan Without Government Approval: Journalist Claims

LONDON – Prominent journalist Azhar Javed has claimed that former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sons, Qasim and Sulaiman, cannot travel to Pakistan without official government approval. According to Javed, the two boys, who reside in the United Kingdom, do not possess National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) and instead hold British passports.

In a video report filmed outside the Pakistani High Commission in London for Azad Digital, Azhar Javed stated that Qasim and Sulaiman would require Pakistani visas to enter the country, as they lack the documentation needed for visa-free entry typically available to overseas Pakistanis.

Javed further alleged that their mother, Jemima Khan, has also advised them not to visit Pakistan at this time due to the current political climate and legal situation involving their father.

The report has sparked renewed debate over the role of former leaders’ families in Pakistan’s political affairs, as well as the complications faced by dual nationals in such contexts.
