Three Arrested After Video of Brutal Assault on Citizens Goes Viral in Lahore

Lahore: Three individuals have been arrested following the circulation of a disturbing video on social media, showing them physically assaulting two citizens, Bilal and Mudassar Abbas, in Lahore. The incident occurred in the Nadarabad area of the South Cantonment, where the suspects filmed themselves forcing the victims into a humiliating “cock” position and subjected them to violence.
According to reports, the accused—Mudassar Bhatti, Babar, and Ilahi Bhatti—lured the victims to Ilahi Bhatti’s residence under the false promise of offering them food. However, once at the location, the victims were brutally beaten while the attackers recorded the assault.
The video, which was later shared online, quickly went viral, sparking widespread outrage. In response, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Cantonment, Captain (Retd.) Qazi Ali Raza, ordered immediate action. The South Cantonment Police Station House Officer (SHO), Daniyal Younis, along with Nadarabad Check Post In-Charge, apprehended the suspects within hours.
The police spokesperson confirmed that the suspects had also issued threats to kill the victims if they reported the crime. A case has been filed, and the suspects have been arrested.
