Punjab Police Officer and Accomplice Arrested with 4 Kgs of Hashish in Lahore

Lahore: Lahore Police have arrested a telecommunication constable from Punjab Police and his accomplice, involved in drug supply, along with 4 kilograms of hashish.
According to the FIR, the Misri Shah Police Station officials spotted two suspicious motorcyclists near Railway Colony’s Lal Masjid. Upon noticing the police, the suspects attempted to flee, but the police pursued and arrested them.
During interrogation, one of the suspects identified himself as Umar Farooq, an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in the Telecommunication department of Punjab Police, while the other suspect, Mohammad Ali, was also apprehended.
The police recovered 4 kilograms of hashish from the possession of the accused and registered a case against them.
