SIFC Marks Second Year with Historic Achievements in IT and Telecom Sectors

Islamabad: In its second year, the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) has played a pivotal role in achieving historic milestones in Pakistan’s IT and telecom sectors.
According to a report, SIFC’s efforts in the IT sector have been fruitful, significantly contributing to the growth of Pakistan’s digital economy. Through its initiatives, SIFC has played a key role in bringing the country’s IT industry to new heights. The development of IT infrastructure and the influx of investment from global companies have strengthened Pakistan’s technological landscape.
SIFC’s contributions have also led to an increase in the global recognition of Pakistan’s IT sector. Notably, 200,000 graduates have received IT skills training, opening up new employment opportunities within the sector. With SIFC’s support, the IT industry has seen the emergence of new job prospects, alongside fostering international transactions and creating pathways for freelancers.
The establishment of modern IT parks under SIFC’s guidance and the facilitation of access to global startups have also played a significant role in promoting Pakistan’s IT sector on the global stage.
