Balochistan Journalists and Digital Influencers Visit Zong Pakistan’s Headquarters, Meet Management

Islamabad: A delegation of journalists and digital influencers from Balochistan visited China Mobile’s Zong Pakistan headquarters, where they had a meeting with the management of the company. During the meeting, discussions were held about improving internet facilities in Balochistan, installing new towers in remote areas, and providing better services to people.

The journalists and influencers raised concerns about the lack of internet services in Balochistan’s underdeveloped areas and urged Zong to install new towers to improve connectivity. They highlighted the difficulties faced by the people of these remote regions in accessing internet services.
Zong’s management acknowledged these issues and assured the delegation that the company is fully committed to enhancing services in Balochistan’s remote areas. They stated, “We view Balochistan not just in terms of population but also by its vast geographical size, and we are working swiftly to improve internet facilities in the province.”
The management further added, “We understand the challenges faced by the people in Balochistan’s underserved and distant areas, and we will ensure that our services reach as many people as possible.”
Zong officials revealed that they will soon visit Balochistan for a survey and will prioritize areas that lack proper internet services, ensuring that these regions receive the best possible facilities.
During the visit, the Balochistan delegation was also given a tour of Zong’s advanced communication system, cloud server setup, the mosque built at the Zong headquarters, and the staff canteen, along with a detailed briefing on all the facilities.
