Karachi: Markets and Streets Sealed Ahead of 8th Muharram Procession

Karachi: In a bid to ensure security for the 8th Muharram procession in the city, police authorities have sealed off markets and shops located along the procession route after conducting thorough searches. Additionally, other streets leading to the procession routes have been blocked with containers and large vehicles.
Police have been deployed along the sealed roads to enforce the restrictions, ensuring that no one enters or exits these areas either from the procession or toward it. The security measures are being enforced to maintain order and protect the participants.
As of the latest reports, the sealing process continues, with markets and shops along key routes, including from Numaish Chowrangi to M.A. Jinnah Road and Kharadar, being searched and sealed by the police.
