India Restores Social Media Accounts of Pakistani Artists

Karachi: Following the unblocking of Pakistani YouTube channels, India has now restored the social media accounts of Pakistani artists that were previously blocked.
According to Indian media reports, after the Pahalgam incident, the Indian government had blocked the social media accounts of Pakistani artists. However, access to these accounts has now been reinstated for users.
The artists whose social media accounts have been unblocked include Imran Ashraf, Mawra Hussain, Hania Aamir, Yumna Zaidi, Wahaj Ali, Ahad Raza Mir, Danish Taimoor, and many others.
It is worth mentioning that the Indian government had imposed a ban on 16 Pakistani YouTube channels, including Pakistan’s largest news channel, Geo News, following the Pahalgam incident. However, India has now lifted the ban on entertainment channels.
