Three Foreign Aircraft Remain Grounded at Karachi Airport Following Incidents

Karachi: Three foreign aircraft involved in separate incidents at Karachi Airport remain temporarily grounded, either in hangars or in parking bays, as investigations and repairs continue.
According to reports, the Pakistan Airport Authority is conducting ongoing investigations into the back-to-back incidents involving the aircraft.
One of the affected planes belongs to an international courier company, whose cargo aircraft sustained damage when a loader truck collided with it. The impact damaged the left wing lights and three other parts of the aircraft’s body. No repair work has begun on this aircraft yet, and a team of experts from abroad is expected to arrive in Karachi to initiate the necessary repairs.
Meanwhile, the Turkish Airlines aircraft is in the final stages of repair after a bird strike affected one of its engines. The aircraft is expected to take off later tonight.
The third grounded aircraft belongs to Saudi Airlines. It was forced to make an emergency landing after an engine fire warning was triggered. Engineers from Saudi Arabia are currently working on the plane.
Sources confirmed that passengers from the affected Saudi and Turkish flights have already been accommodated and dispatched via alternative aircraft.
