U.S. Supreme Court Rules in Favor of Trump’s Deportation Policy

Washington: The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled in favor of President Donald Trump’s deportation policy, allowing his administration to proceed with the removal of undocumented immigrants from the country.
According to U.S. media reports, the decision represents a significant legal victory for Trump’s immigration policy. Last month, the Supreme Court had blocked the Trump administration from resuming the deportation of refugees, after the administration announced the termination of legal status for over 500,000 immigrants, giving them until April 24 to leave the country.
President Trump had previously pledged to launch the largest deportation campaign in U.S. history, focusing particularly on curbing immigration from Latin American countries. However, the Supreme Court had temporarily halted Trump’s efforts under the Alien Enemies Act, preventing the removal of immigrants.
In response to the earlier Supreme Court ruling, President Trump had expressed frustration, stating that the judges were not allowing him to do what he was elected to do by the people.
